- Questions/Answers for the Valet Parking and Parking Attendant Solicitation 36C24225Q0265 Q1) Will a downloaded time sheet meet the requirement of daily timesheets? A1) As long as the download timesheet indicates the number of cars parked, it will meet the requirements of the solicitation. Q2) Can the spaces be numbered? A2) No, spaces may not be numbered. Q3) Where is the booth for Lot B? A3) The booth is onsite at the entrance to the parking lot B and is for use of the Parking Attendant in Lot B. Q4) Can I store my golf cart onsite? A4) Yes, the VA will provide secure storage for your property. Q5) Will a map be provided of the campus? A5) No, the vendor is highly encouraged to visit the site and view the lots. Q6) How many valet attendants do I need? A6) The vendor shall determine what staffing is necessary to meet all the requirements in the Statement of Work (SOW). Service Contract Act wage rates apply. Q7) Will the Government add line items for supplies required for this contract? A7) No. This is a firm-fixed priced requirement. Q8) Will the Lot B Attendant be parking cars? A8) No. The Lot B Attendant is to provide continuous monitoring of Lot B. Q9) What do I include in my quote? Can I submit more than 10-pages? A9) The solicitation provides Instructions to Offerors. 10 pages should be sufficient to effectively describe your companies abilities. Q10) For claims, is the vendor expected to pay for claims without reimbursement from the VA? A10) Yes, Liability Insurance is required to be maintained for the life of the contract by the vendor. The vendor is responsible for any damages caused by their employee, without reimbursement from the VA.
