Description
This is a Sources Sought Notice This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE in support of the Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany, NY for market research purposes only to determine the availability of potential businesses with capabilities to provide the requirement described below. Potential offerors are invited to provide feedback via e-mail to Lisa.Harris4@va.gov. Responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition. All responses due by 25 October 2021 at 9:00 AM Eastern Standard Time. Potential contractors shall provide, at a minimum, the following information: 1) Company name, address, and point of contact, phone number, e-mail address, and DUNS. 2) Anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811219: Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. If you believe a different NAICS is more appropriate, please indicate with your response. Is your firm eligible for participation in one of the following small business programs? The Capabilities Statement for this sources sought is not expected to be a Request for Quotations, Request for Proposals or Invitation for Bids, nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach, but rather the Government is requesting a short statement regarding the company s ability to provide the services outlined below. Any commercial brochures or currently existing marketing material may also be submitted with the capabilities statement. Submission of capabilities statement will assist our office in tailoring the requirement to be consistent with industry standards. The capabilities will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining to Set-Aside for the Small Business (SB) Community or to conduct as an Unrestricted Procurement. Other than small businesses may respond to this notice in the event the market does not indicate SB interest. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not pay for information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation Capability Statement Criteria 1 Technical Capability: Technical capability is defined as a contractor s ability to satisfy the sources sought requirements, providing the highest quality service to the specified facilities. Technical Capability will be determined based on the qualifications of the contractor s capability statement. Contractor must demonstrate that they are a firm regularly engaged in the field of Medical Gas Services. Provide a maximum of a five (5) page capability statement demonstrating technical Capability to meet all the requirements of the Statement of Work. Describe technician qualifications/experience in working on equipment noted within the statement of work. Provide evidence of technician certification in Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA); ASSE 6040 and ASSE 6030 Provide the offer's team of individuals to provide services, including any subcontractor personnel, and the duties to be performed by each. 2 - Past Performance: Identify at least three references, preferably federal agency contracts, including contract number, dates of performance, points of contact, and telephone numbers, whereby you have provided the same or similar services, of the magnitude described in this sources sought. Relevant past performance information shall include key personnel who have relevant experience, predecessor companies, and subcontractors who will perform major or critical elements of this sources sought.
