- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in�subpart�12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and it incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2021-07, effective as of 10 September 2021. Announcement Number: 95332421Q0093 Title: Economic Research Assistant, Department of Policy and Evaluation Position Information: Full-Time Personal Services Contractor (PSC) One (1) one-year base period (2,087 hours per year), renewable for up to four (4) one-year option periods at the sole discretion of the Government Pay Band: 05 $49,000 � $88,620 ($23.48 � $42.46 per hour) See https://www.mcc.gov/careers/pay-bands. In addition to the direct compensation referenced above, the PSC will receive a pay supplement of 15% of the employee's direct labor cost in lieu of fringe benefits. Position Security Level: Non?Sensitive/Low Risk (T?1) Who May Be Considered: U.S. Citizens Place of Performance: Principal place of performance in Washington, DC, USA and/or PSC's home of record. Type of Contract: Time-and-material (T&M) with One (1) one-year Base Period and four (4) one-year Option Periods. Multiple awards may result from this solicitation. All quotes will be retained and may be utilized for requirements for a period of 12 months after the RFQ deadline. Amendment 0001: The purpose�of Amendment 0001 is to: - Issue answers to questions received from interested offerors; - Extend the quotation submission deadline to Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 5:00PM ET; - Revise Clause MCC 52.237-71 Personal Services - Total Compensation Ceiling (July 2012) to correct the position title and pay band; and - Incorporate Clause FAR 52.233-99 Ensuring Adequate COVID-19 Safety Protocols for Federal Contractor (OCT 2021) (DEVIATION). All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
