Description

Solicitation Amendment FA8121-21-R-0031-0001 The purpose of this amendment is to make the following administrative changes denoted below: FIRST: To incorporate Clause 252.223-7999, Ensuring Adequate COVID-19 Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors (Deviation 2021-O0009). SECOND: All other terms and conditions remain unchanged and in full effect. The requirement is for the overhaul of the F100-PW-229 Turbine Fan Case. The IDIQ contract will have a one year basic and four one-year options. PR Number(s): FD20302001857 (USAF) & FD20302130421 (FMS) Nomenclature/None: Turbine Fan Case Description/Dimension/Material: Overhaul of the F100-PW-229 Turbine Fan Case Destination: SW32111, Tinker AFB, OK 73145 Application (Engine or Aircraft): F100-PW-299/220 Engine History: Previous contract - FA8121-17-D-0008, awarded 26 April 2017 Set-Aside: None Contract Type: Firm Fixed Price, IDIQ Options: Yes FMS: Yes Item Unique Identification (IUD): If unit price exceeds $5,000.00, then IUID requirements will apply. Ombudsman: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from Offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
