- The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), Division of Extramural Activities (DEA), Office of Research Training and Special Programs (ORTSP), Office of Small Business Programs requires Communications, Event, and Outreach support to promote NIAID Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs and provide further engagement with target audiences. NIAID seeks Communications, Event, and Outreach support to promote SBIR/STTR programs through marketing designed to reach new and diverse stakeholders including small businesses, other biotechnology companies, investors, university incubator communities, and others within the biotechnology ecosystem. Additionally, NIAID seeks to create and promote tools to support applicants who may be unfamiliar with NIAID and NIH grants processes. The goals are to grow the applicant/customer base for NIAID�s Small Business Programs; provide targeted resources and support for applicants/customers to overcome real and perceived barriers to participation; provide support to help applicants understand the application submission, review, and award processes; and provide timely information about new or changing SBIR/STTR programs and policies TORP #2064 under PICS II IDIQ D&F for Time and Materials acquisition is attached.
