Description
VA New York Harbor Healthcare System 423 E 23rd Street New York, NY 10010 Sources Sought Nurse Call System PMI and Testing - Manhattan Campus The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 811219. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources for this procurement relative to NAICS 811219. Qualified offerors shall be experienced and capable of supporting this facility. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. If your firm is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned (SDVOSB) or Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), you must be CERTIFIED in VetBiz (see internet site: http://vip.vetbiz.gov). Responses to this notice should include company/individual name, socioeconomic status, a service capability statement, and examples of similar facilities which you have provided this service their DUNS number, address, and point of contact. A solicitation is not currently available. Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing via email to josie.tuitt@va.gov with SUBJ: Nurse Call and must be received no later than January 21st at 10:00am ET. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. OBJECTIVE Obtain inspections, testing, maintenance and repair services for Hill-Rom Navicare Nurse Call Systems at New York Harbor Healthcare System (NYHHS)- Manhattan Campus SCOPE OF WORK The Contractor shall provide management, supervision, labor, parts, material, tools, incidental services, and transportation necessary to perform a monthly inspection of facility s Hill-Rom Navicare Nurse Call Systems and associated equipment to keep equipment operating as originally specified by the equipment manufacturer. Facilities to be used as a reference only and not to be consider as a complete list of equipment. The Contractor shall provide management, supervision, labor, parts, material, tools, incidental services, and transportation necessary to perform Monthly test of facility s Hill-Rom Navicare Nurse Call Systems and to keep equipment operating as originally specified by the equipment manufacturer. The Contractor shall inspect and service in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations, prevailing industry standards and all applicable Federal Codes, Local and Veterans Health Administration (VHA) standards and directives. National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 72 and 90 Life Safety The Contractor, without additional expense to the Government, shall obtain all Hill-Rom Navicare licenses, permits, and insurance required to perform the work in this Contract. The Contractor shall provide complete maintenance service, safety inspections, and tests on system(s) for the period required under the contract. Work shall be performed by only trained, and certified technicians on facility s Hill-Rom Navicare Nurse Call system. The Hill-Rom Navicare certified technician will provide a report of deficiencies found to the Government and Contractor is required to correct. The Hill-Rom Navicare certified technician shall ensure full system functionality each time they depart the facility after performing system test, inspection, maintenance and or repair. The Contractor shall identify the date of the last Test and maintain the frequency as per Joint Commission VHA requirements. Any repairs or adjustments necessary to complete a test and return the Hill-Rom Navicare Nurse Call Systems service shall be performed by the Contractor at no additional expense to the Government. All tests or inspections removing Hill-Rom Navicare Nurse Call system or any of its components from normal operation shall be scheduled in advance with the CO/COR/Facility s General Forman. The Contractor shall coordinate with COR and Facility s safety Office when Inspecting, testing, and or performing repair on the Hill-Rom Navicare Nurse Call system. Contractor shall provide tools, equipment, specialty items and other items that may be necessary to perform tasks required under this Contract. Parts not available from the manufacturer due to obsolescence remain the Contractor s responsibility to replace from another source. Contractor shall Inventory entire facility s Hill-Rom Navicare Nurse Call system and assure accurate quantity and locations. The contract is to cover the Hill-Rom Navicare Nurse Call systems to include but not limited to the following: All Buildings. Master Station(s) Room Station(s) Audio/Visual devices Amplifiers Pushbutton Call Cord Annunciators and associated circuitry and etc. * Approximately 600 nurse call stations ** Approximately 8-10 Control units and associated equipment
