- Sources Sought Notice only. This is neither a solicitation nor a request for quote (RFQ) and does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Request for a solicitation will not receive a response. The Government will not pay nor reimburse any costs of preparing this response. The purpose of this sources sought notice is for market research to make the appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified and their Small Business Administration (SBA) size classification in relation to North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 339113, Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing, size standard of 750 employees. The Network Contracting Office (NCO) 08, Orlando Veterans Affairs Healthcare System is seeking a source to provide EA-52 LED Electric Motor to the Department of Veterans Affairs Orlando VA Healthcare System, 13800 Veterans Way, Orlando, FL, 32827. Seeking qualified businesses to provide the following: The contractor shall deliver the following item Brand Name or Equal: Item 0001: A-DEC, Motor, Electric HDPC, EA-52, LED, US Part Number: 54.0331.00, Quantity: 175 Each Salient Characteristics Features: 1. Reusable Medical Equipment A-dec capability motor must have integrated electric and endodontic rotary handpiece on the unit 2. Electric motor must be compatible with the A-Dec handpiece and the A-Dec treatment console 3. Electric drive motor must include supply of cooling media for dental transmission instruments 4. A-dec Chair Model: 511 capability 5. VE-9 coupling handpiece tube capability 6. ISO 3964 connection motor/attachment according to standard capability 7. Torque control, auto reverse capability 8. Speed range with control CM-1.1 (rpm) capability (must provide value) 9. Speed range with control CM-2.1 (rpm) capability (must provide value) 10. Adjustment cooling air (l/min) capability 11. Air coolant pressure (kPa) capability (must provide value) 12 Operating mode (must provide value) 13. Ambient temperature max (must provide value) 14. Additional Site Requirements: a. Length: 1.86 inches b.
