Description
This is a sources sought notice 36C24421Q0235; this is neither a solicitation nor a promise of future work. The Wilmington VAMC is seeking SDVOSB/VOSB and any small or large company regardless of Socio-economic category that can provide the requirement as spelled out in the Statement of Work (SOW) below. The veteran business must be registered in betaSAM and certified in VETBIZ (VIP). The small or large businesses must be registered in betaSAM. All Vendors interested in, and with the capability and capacity to fulfill this requirement, are required to furnish the following minimum information in reply to the sources sought: Company Name, address, Government Business Point of Contact, telephone number and email address. Company DUNS number, CAGE Code, and Tax ID numbers. Identify any current Federal Supply Schedule, GSA Contracts held, if none then state that no FSS/GSA schedules are held. Certification from the manufacturer that they have permission to provide and install any systems or software. Are you a manufacturer, dealer, or distributor? STATEMENT OF WORK The Wilmington VA Medical Center has a requirement for Bioness Integrated Therapy System (BITS) This is a Brand Name Or Equal Request. The Bioness Integrated Therapy System (BITS) is manufactured by Tryco. Inc. Below is the Statement of Work for review. Offerors of equal products shall include equipment brochures which clearly define the equal product, or offer will not be considered. Any information submitted by an offeror for consideration will not be returned and will remain the property of the VA. All costs associated with submitting the above are the responsibility of the Contractor and all information provided must be submitted to the Contracting Officer. Background This equipment is for testing and treatment that can be used by multiple clinicians and multiple disciplines, including driver s assessments, Inpatient Medical Rehab, and outpatient to better assess and treatment veterans with neurological disorders. The Bioness Integrated Therapy System (BITS ) software application utilizes seven (7) different therapy categories with 24 customizable programs designed to evaluate and improve abilities in individuals with disabilities resulting from traumatic injuries and movement disorders as well as improve performance in competitive athletes. Several BITS programs require visual scanning to enhance detection of targets in complex arrays and in the central and peripheral fields of vision. Selection Criteria Vendor must meet or exceed all requirements as specified below. Specifications Be a portable unit that can be easily moved from one treatment room to another. Unit must be able to work as a stand-alone without any additional PC Have at least 24 different programs that cover: Visual Motor Skills Visual and Auditory Processing Cognition and Endurance Preset Parameters allow you to jump right into therapy using three predefined settings. The level of challenge can also be fine-tuned using any number of the adjustable options. Clinically can test, train and track: Visual motor coordination, scanning, reaction time, and peripheral awareness Visual tracking, motor skill planning, cognitive skills Working memory, visual/auditory processing, impulsivity, timing Visual spatial perception, motor coordination, attention Visual search, attention, visual/auditory processing Has 4 different assessments for: 4 Standardized Assessments offer an efficient method to administer tests, benchmark performance and capture detailed results. visual motor coordination, scanning, cognition, and reaction time ability to launch an assessment full screen to challenge a larger visual field or scale it down to more closely replicate the paper test.
