- SOURCES SOUGHT FOR LAUNDERING AND DRY CLEANING SERVICES INTRODUCTION The United States Army is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify potential sources having an interest and industry technologies available to provide laundry cleaning support services and dry cleaning to all Army Field Support Battalion Hawaii (AFSBn-HAW) - Supported units stationed on the island of Oahu.. The result of this market research will contribute to a competitive solicitation, if a requirement materializes. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding submissions. IT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION AND SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. RESPONSES IN ANY FORM ARE NOT OFFERS AND THE GOVERNMENT IS UNDER NO OBLIGATION TO AWARD A CONTRACT AS A RESULT OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. NO FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE TO PAY FOR PREPARATION OF RESPONSES TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. ANY INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY RESPONDENTS TO THIS TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION IS STRICTLY VOLUNTARY. REQUIRED CAPABILITIES Please see attached Performance Work Statements (PWSs) for full program background and required capabilities for this acquisition. Estimated weight of annual requirements are as follows: Laundry: 85,000 lbs Dry Cleaning: 9,500 articles of clothing ELIGIBILITY The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 812332 with a Small Business Size Standard of $41.5M. The Product Service Code is S209. Businesses of all sizes are encouraged to respond; however, each respondent must clearly identify their business size in their capabilities statement. SUBMISSION DETAILS Your response to this Sources Sought is requested as a Capabilities Sheet, up to 5 pages, and shall be electronically submitted to the Contract Specialist, Natalie CP Phillips, in either Microsoft Word or Portable Document Format (PDF), via email (natalie.c.phillips2.civ@mail.mil) no later than 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time on 25 January, 2021. You are required to reference this synopsis number in subject line of e-mail and on all enclosed documents. Information and materials submitted in response to this request WILL NOT be returned. DO NOT SUBMIT CLASSIFIED MATERIAL. No phone or email solicitations concerning the status of the RFP will be accepted prior to its release. This documentation must address at a minimum the following items: Can you provide the requested Laundering Service? If so, please provide details. Can you provide the requested Dry Cleaning Service? If so, please provide details. Are you registered in betaSAM with a CAGE code and eligible to conduct business with the Federal Government? If not, do you intend to rectify this prior to a solicitation request? Are you a small business? If so, what type? All data received in response to this Sources Sought that is marked or designated as corporate or proprietary will be fully protected from any release outside the Government.
