- Update 14 January 2021: Amendment 003 updates Attachment 005, �PTU Provisions and Clauses�. Specifically the Amendment removes the clause �252.222-7999 Combating Race and Sex Stereotyping (Deviation 2021-O0001) (Nov 2020)�. Update 6 January 2021: This update provides clarification to question and answer (Q&A) number #33 in the solicitation Q&A file. In reference to question number #33; the Government is looking for data that provides evidence that the end item will meet the laundry requirements. If the data provided is at the component level, it can be assumed that the end item meets the same laundry specifications. The Government will do its own wash tests and verification if required. The Offeror is not required to perform and provide full laundry testing and test data on the completed end item prior to the submission of the product demonstration samples which will be submitted with proposals. Full laundry testing and test data on the completed end items will be required prior to full production authorization. Update 22 December 2020: The solicitation Questions and Answers Attachment is now available. Update 16 December 2020: Amendment 002 added. This Amendment updates Attachment 005, ""PTU Provisions and Clauses"", updates Attachment 003, ""11-PD 20017USMC PTU Short"", updates Amendment 001 and provides notice that the vector logo file is now available upon email request. Update 11 December 2020: Amendment 001 added. This Amendment updates Attachment 002 ""11-PD 20017USMC PTU Shirt"" as well as the pattern file for the PTU Shirt. SOLICITATION NOTICE M67854-21-R-1804: Physical Training Uniform NAICS Code: 315280 - Other Cut and Sew Apparel Manufacturing This Solicitation Notice is for the United States Marine Corps (USMC) Physical Training Uniform (PTU). A PTU will be include one physical training shirt and one physical training short. The PTU solicitation is a Total Small Business Set-Aside in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 19.502-2. Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC), Program Manager, Infantry Combat Equipment (PM ICE), requires a Berry Amendment compliant PTU. The PTU must meet the specified performance requirements in accordance with the SOW (Attachment 001) as well as the PTU Purchase Descriptions (Attachment 002 and Attachment 003). The Government anticipates awarding no more than four, five-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) Firm Fixed Price (FFP), commercial item contracts where an offeror(s) would be capable of producing an anticipated combined maximum quantity of 1,800,800 PTU units. Only one proposal/offer may be submitted per offeror. Only one design of PDMs to match the proposal/offer may be submitted per offeror. All required documents shall be submitted as separate files and adhere to the page and formatting restrictions identified. Offerors proposed pricing shall be valid for one year from date of submission. Three PTU Product Demonstration Samples are required to be submitted with proposal submission. If your company is notified of its inclusion in the IDIQ Award from the proposal submission in response to the RFP, a delivery order will be provided to your company to produce 100 PTUs for limited testing user evaluation. If your company is selected for production units after the limited testing user evaluation, Nine PTUs will be required within 60 days of the following delivery order to support Pre-Production Validation (PPV). Upon successful completion of PPV, the contractor will be required to begin deliveries within 60 days and shall be capable of producing and delivering a minimum quantity of 15,000 PTU�s per month within 90 days of receiving production authorization. This production capability rate must be must be maintained until all deliveries are complete.
