- Description
- The Contracting Department, NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center (FLC), Norfolk, VA intends to solicit and process a single award, Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity contract with Firm Fixed Price (FFP) provisions, for program development and instruction of the Navy�s Competent Person Fall Protection (CPFP)�Course, in support of the Naval Safety and Environmental Training Center (NAVSAFENVTRACEN), Norfolk, VA.� �This requirement will be set aside completely for Service-Disabled Veteran-owned Small Business participation according to FAR Subpart 19.14. The requirement will be processed under FAR Subpart 13.5 � Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. Performance is anticipated to begin 01 March 2021 inclusive of one five-year ordering period, through 28 February 2026. This requirement will have a provision for a six (6) month extension in accordance with FAR Clause 52.217-8 �Option to Extend Services.� As these services have been determined to be commercial, this acquisition will be conducted in accordance with the procedures outlined in FAR Sub-Part 13.5 entitled, �Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items� and Far Part 12 �Acquisition of Commercial Items�. The RFQ will require the submission of non-price as well as price/cost quotes. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 611430 � Professional and Management Development Training; size standard is $12 million. Interested Parties should refer to solicitation number N0018921Q0041. The RFQ will be made available electronically upon its release at www.beta.sam.gov. Paper copies, faxed copies, or e-mail copies of the solicitation will not be provided. Interested parties are solely responsible for monitoring the above website for posting of the RFQ and any amendments thereto. The Government will not pay for information received. The anticipated date of RFQ posting is on or around 11 December 2020. Amendment 1 added January 6, 2021 to extend the Solicitation to January 19, 2021 at 11:00 AM Eastern Standard Time. Amendment 2 added January 8, 2021 to answer questions to Solicitation and provide additional attachments. Amendment 3 added January 14, 2021 to extend the Solicitation to February 2, 2021 at 11:00 AM Eastern Standard Time.
