Description
NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) is hereby soliciting information from potential sources for Ground Systems and Mission Operations 3. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) GSFC is seeking capability statements from all interested parties, including all socioeconomic categories of Small Businesses and Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU)/Minority Institutions (MI), for the purposes of determining the appropriate level of competition and/or small business subcontracting goals for Ground Systems and Mission Operations 3.� The Government reserves the right to consider a Small, 8(a), Women-owned (WOSB), Service Disabled Veteran (SD-VOSB), Economically Disadvantaged Women-owned Small Business (EDWOSB) or HUBZone business set-aside based on responses received. The requirement will support numerous science missions and multiple Projects and programs such as the Earth Observing System (EOS), the Data and Operations System (EDOS), the Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO), the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO), the Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope, The Origins, Spectral Interpretation, Resource Identification, Security, Regolith Explorer (OSIRIS-Rex), the Global Precipitation Measurement (GPM) mission, the Magnetospheric Multi-Scale (MMS) mission, the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST), and the Mars Atmosphere and Volatile Evolution Mission (MAVEN) amongst others. This requirement also supports varying mechanical, structural, electrical, and electronic hardware and ground support equipment efforts; software development; system improvements and upgrades; a broad range of research and development activities in support of science applications; spaceflight instruments, components, assemblies, and systems design, development, fabrication, integration, and testing activities; and special engineering studies.� No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on beta.SAM.gov.� Interested firms are responsible for monitoring these sites for the release of any solicitation or synopsis. Interested firms having the required capabilities necessary to meet the above requirement described herein should submit a capability statement of no more than 15 pages indicating the ability to perform all aspects of the effort. Interested offerors shall address the following requirements. Respond to each item below (identify by function) by describing your ability to fully perform each activity. Document your demonstrated experience for each activity by providing objective evidence of that experience (specific but brief examples that clearly indicate the specific, demonstrated experience). If you are unable to fully perform an activity, identify such is the case, and address how you may accommodate the area(s) that you cannot currently perform.
