Page 2 of 2 This is a Request for Information (RFI) announcement only. This is not a solicitation. The purpose of this RFI is to gain knowledge of current market conditions for these services relative to NAICS 446110, Virtual Pharmacy Services with a size standard of $ 30.0 Million. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 23 St Paul MN is seeking to identify vendors capable of providing Virtual Pharmacy Services in the upper Midwest region. The anticipated contract will be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract with a one-year base, and four one-year option periods for multiple locations within the Central Region to include but not limited to Black Hills, SD, Sioux Falls SD, Saint Cloud, MN, Fargo, ND, and Des Moines IA. The expected magnitude of the contract over five years for all locations combined is between $700K and $1.5M. Scope: This contract will provide Virtual Pharmacy Services predominantly during non-business hours for in-patient, out-patient, and the emergency rooms at the various VA Medical Centers noted above. Offerors will be required to provide the services of licensed and qualified pharmacists 7 days per week, 365 days per year. Services will be performed virtually, via telecommunications equipment provided by the contractor. Pharmacists are required to be U.S. Citizens. The services will include completion of orders for in-patients including Intravenous orders and emergency room patients. This includes the professional review and problem solving needed to assure safe appropriate medication processing. Virtual pharmacy services include licensed pharmacist review of medication orders with patients by remote (computer) methods. Respondents to this RFI are requested to be limited to SDVOSB and/or VOSB contractors listed in VIP and registered in beta.SAM websites. Interested contractors are requested to provide the following information: Company Name, Address, Contact Person Name, Phone Number, email address(es), DUNS number and company website. Identify the Socio-Economic Status of business (SDVOSB, VOSB, etc.) What medical services does your company primarily provide? Are you currently, or have you previously provided Virtual Pharmacy Services to any federal medical treatment facility? If so, please provide the federal contract number(s) for services performed in the last three (3) years. Will your company enter into a joint venture or other relationship in order to provide this service? A brief narrative describing your organization s proven capabilities to provide 7 day per week 365 days per year of Virtual Pharmacy Services for at least 5 locations in quantities estimated to be 50,000 100,000 prescriptions per year. Services will be priced and paid for the each actual prescription processed. Responses to this RFI market survey must be in writing and emailed to amanda.bursaw@va.gov.
