- Description
- The Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF) Contracting Office (Code 440) intends to issue a firm fixed price award to a single source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), soliciting from a single source. An award will be made on or about 25 July to Mirion Technologies (Canberra, Inc.). 800 Research Parkway, Meriden CT 06450.� The period of performance will be from 25 July 2020 through 25 Oct 2020. This is a non-personnel services contract. It is to provide repair and reconfiguration for DETSERV-4 High Purity Germanium Detectors (HPGE). This is a non-personnel services contract to provide repair and reconfiguration for 2 HPGE Detectors. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn, is responsible to the Government. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to repair and reconfiguration for HPGE items as defined in this Performance Work Statement except for those items specified as government furnished property and services. The contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract OEM manufacturer. The OEM manufacturer of the HPGE is Mirion Technologies Inc. The warranty for the equipment is only honored if the OEM manufacturer provides repair and reconfiguration. Use of any other VOIDS the warranty. The work shall be performed under this contract at the contractor�s place of business. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code: 811219 Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance with an SBA Size Standard of $22.0 Million. Product Service Code (PSC) J058 Maintenance/ Repair/Rebuild of Equipment-Communication, Detection, and Coherent Radiation Equipment. This notice of intent is not a request for quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit technical capabilities that satisfy the requirements listed above. The capability documentation should include general information and technical background describing in detail the prospective contractor�s capabilities and experience that demonstrates the ability to support the requirements. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
