Description: Contractor is to deliver Fresh and Frozen Pork Products for Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) commissaries located in the Continental United States (CONUS) to include Alaska, Hawaii, and OCONUS-Puerto Rico. The commissaries require various quantities of Fresh and Frozen Pork Products. For the purpose of this solicitation, the following 169 commissaries are grouped geographically into 8 groups: Group 1 42 stores-MD, ME, DC, PA, NC, PA, VA, NY, NJ, DE, MA, CT, RI Group 2 38 stores- GA, LA, SC, MS, FL, AL, TN, AR Group 3 44 stores-OK, CO, NM, TX, SO, KY, KS, �IL, ND, MI, MO, OH, IN, NE, WY Group 4 27 stores- CA, AZ, NV, UT Group 5 9 stores- WA, MT, ID Group 6 4 stores-HI Group 7 4 stores-AK Group 8 1 store- Puerto Rico A single solicitation containing the eight geographical groupings will be issued. �Each group will be independently evaluated and awarded on an all or none basis. The Government will award one or more contracts resulting from this solicitation based on evaluation using the best value, lowest-priced, technically acceptable procedures. An Indefinite-Delivery Requirements Type contract is contemplated with Firm Fixed Priced, special factor pricing that will adjust the unit price weekly based on the Weekly Carlot Meat Report. The PSC code is 8905 and the NAICS code is 311611 for this requirement with a size standard amount is 1,000 employees. The period of performance will be for a base period of 24 consecutive months plus three 12-month option periods. This solicitation will be issued on and unrestricted basis. All offers from large business firms must submit an acceptable subcontracting plan with their offer.� Offers received without an acceptable plan will not be considered for award.� The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be released on or about October 8, 2020.�� Any small businesses interested in submitting a proposal package may seek assistance from your local Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) or the Small Business Administration (SBA).
