- Description
- The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) intends to issue a solicitation for a sole source contract for Engineering Analysis in support of the Sikorsky H-53E Sea Stallion aircraft. �Approximately 754 out-of-production NSNs are being reviewed for this contract effort in order to evaluate what is required to bring these items back into production. �The proposed action is intended to be awarded on a sole source basis, as supported by a J&A IAW FAR 6.302-1. The proposed sole source contract will be issued to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (CAGE: 78286).� The proposed contract will be for a total period of performance of approximately 18-24 months.� Any letters expressing interest in subcontracting should be provided to the Contracting Officer and will be forwarded to the identified OEM.� At this time, this action is proposed as a FAR Part 15 effort.� The proposed contract will be firm, fixed-price with up to one option year.� The attached list of sole-source NSNs are the items that have been identified for review under this action.� DLA intends to issue a Letter Request for Proposal (RFP) directly to Sikorsky; for more information, please contact the Contracting Officer listed below.
