- Description
- A Pre-Bid Conference will be held via teleconference on 16 June 2020 @ 10:00 AM EST.� The call-in number is: 877-402-9753, the Access Code is: 6546236, and the SECURITY CODE is: 9470.� It is requested that an email be sent to Timothy.G.Humphrey@usace.army.mil to confirm attendance by your organization. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Project Work consists of repairs to restore the Port Everglades South Jetty. Repairs will require substantial moving and manipulation of both new and existing stones to obtain the required interlocking within the tolerances provided. The originally constructed South Jetty is approximately 1,050 feet in length with a variable height between approximately +7.25 and +10.25 ft above Mean Lower Low Water (MLLW) as shown in the drawings. The crest width is 12 feet and the north and south slopes of the structure slope at 1V:2H as shown on the drawings. Contractors will be restricted to only working from the water starting March 1 to November 30. All work will be conducted from the water during daylight hours with no work, access, or staging conducted on the beach during this time. PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS: The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about 5 June 2020 and bids will be due on or about 7 July 2020. NAICS Code 237990, size standard $39.5 million.
