Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice. The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Southeast Area (SEA) Richard B. Russell Agricultural Research Center (RRC) in Athens GA., has a requirement to Replace Main Power Feed Cables.� ��The contractor shall provide all professional services necessary to replace the main power feed cables at the Russell Research Center (RRC) in Athens, Georgia.� The work to be done consists of furnishing all necessary labor, materials, and equipment and performing all work in strict accordance with the statement of work. USDA ARS SEA intends to issue a Request for Proposals for a firm fixed priced construction contract.� The solicitation is anticipated to be a Total Small Business Set-Aside.� The NAICS code for this requirement is 2386210 with a size standard of $16.5M.� Contractors shall not directly contact the�facility to discuss this requirement.� During the solicitation phase, contractors will be provided the opportunity for a site visit and to ask any relevant questions. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute the Request for Proposal (RFP). The Government anticipates issuing an RFP for this requirement in July 2020.� This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for these services.
