Description
Solicitation for �GSU Transformer Install at Ft. Peck, Montana�. The solicitation will close on11 AUG 2020�at 2 PM� The solicitation is Unrestricted and Open to Both Large and Small Business Participation. Site Visit:� A ""VIRTUAL"" Site Visit has been scheduled and additional information regarding the site visit will be provided in the solicitation via FAR Clause 52.236-27. The site visit is Scheduled for�Tuesday July 21,2020 at 10:00 Central Daylight Time.� See clause�52.236-27 for instructions of how to particiote in VIRTUAL site visit. Project Description: The work to be performed under this contract consists of providing the labor, equipment, and materials to remove the existing single-phase GSU Transformer Banks T2 and T4; the existing Oilostatic feeders for Transformer Banks T3 and T4; Movement of two Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) transformers designated KY4A and KZ2A to new permanent locations; provide one new 15 kV feeder for GFE Transformer KY4A; provide new connections for the two GFE transformers; provide new group-operated disconnect 961; provide new protection, control, and annunciation wiring and all the necessary auxiliary systems and ancillary equipment required to install the equipment at the Fort Peck Powerhouse to make it fully operational. The GSU power transformers are onsite and will be installed as Government furnished equipment with the external connections to be made under this Contract as summarized below and as required in specifications and drawings. The Contractor will be required to commence work upon receipt of contract award and complete the work 490 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed, this is subject to change after solicitation issuance. Estimated Construction Costs: The estimated construction cost of this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. NAICS Code: The Primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code anticipated for solicitation is 237130, Power and Communication Line and Related Structures Construction, with a size standard for Small Business of $36.5M.
