- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE Project #652-20-909 �Fisher House Walkways and Lights The Department of Veterans Affairs, 1201 Broad Rock Blvd, Richmond, VA has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, material, supplies, equipment, transportation, permits, license and qualified supervision for Project 652-20-909, to build walkways and install lights from Fisher House 2 to Fisher House 1 at the Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center, Richmond, VA. General Scope: The Contractor will provide all transportation, material, hardware, parts, tools, specialized equipment, labor, supervision and technical expertise to build the walkways and install lights from Fisher House 2 to Fisher House 1, at the Richmond VAMC. Work shall include, but not be limited to: Excavation of dirt of the sidewalk and bollard light bases. Protect in place existing sprinkler system and repair any breaks that occur. All re-filled excavation shall be compacted to whether soils or aggregates. All disturbed soul will be returned to proper grade and sodded. Sod shall be in rolls, green in color, and cut within 4 days of laying. Prepare sub course, all concrete shall be placed over a bed of compacted crush and run aggregate. Form and pour 125 linear foot by 5 feet wide 4-inch thick sidewalk Form and pour nine (9) 12� light bases following attached anchor bolt installation guide. All demo material and debris will be transported off site for disposal. Install nine (9) CB LED Compact Bollard (CB32/15L3KUV/BL). Tie in new lights into existing Fisher House 2 circuit. Clean all spaces before painting, blending/blacking out current paint, and painting new parking lot including as listed 2 existing crosswalks shall be repainted, roadway is 35 feet wide 250 linear feet of red fire lanes with demarcation and emphasis lines and concrete jersey barriers (one side to be painted completely red) Asphalt surface clean and dry with a surface temperature at or above 60 degrees Estimated construction magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000. NAICS CODE: 237310 Size Standard: $39.5 Million This solicitation is anticipated to an SDVOSB Set-Aside. Solicitation material will be available on/about July 10, 2020. Any specifications, drawings and amendments will be posted on this web site. Proposals will be due approximately 30 days after issuance of the solicitation. Location and points of contact for site visits will be identified in the solicitation. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for proposals.
