- Description
- Regional Health Contracting Office-Central, Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston, Texas intends to award a sole source contract to Covidien Sales LLC. for a SuperDimension Navigation System. The SuperDimension Navigation System is a device that utilizes electromagnetic technology to permit physicians to localize and guide endoscopic tools or catheters through the bronchial pathways of the lung while providing a three dimensional map from a recently computed tomography chest scan. Physicians are able to navigate to a desired location within the lung to biopsy lesions, stage lymph nodes, or insert markers to guide radiotherapy. Award will be made on or about 15 August 2020. The primary NAICS code for the requirement 339112 with a size standard of 1,000 employees. This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency for future requirements.
