Description

THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government.� No solicitation will be issued.� Notice of Intent to award a sole source purchase order under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), intends to contract with Pro-Mark Services, Inc. (NCAGE Code 3DX67) on a sole source basis for the completion of the critical Physiology and Exercise Renovation project at the USDA ARS Grand Forks, ND Research Location.� Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. In doing so, interested sources must submit technical capabilities, pricing, and other information that demonstrates their ability to meet the Governments needs no later than response time provided. Detailed capabilities must be submitted to attached POC. This synopsis is not considered a request for bid/quote/proposal. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests for technical information will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on a basis of offers received in response to this notice, but offers will be used to determine if a comparable source is available and more advantageous to the Government.�Information received will be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government.
