- Page 2 of 2 In accordance with FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. VA Pittsburgh Healthcare Systems intends to negotiate a sole source award with Richard-Allan Scientific, LLC. They are located at 4481 Campus Drive, Kalamazoo, MI 49008. Richard-Allan Scientific, LLC. shall provide: Preventive and corrective maintenance on the Fisher Scientific Model#: SlideMate AS, Serial#: SPA07182505 and the Fisher Scientific Model#: Slide Delivery System, Serial#: SDS06182971. Another firm would not be familiar with the proprietary updates and rationale of the design, not be able to accurately address requests for Information, or accurately maintain this equipment, which is critical for proper research and development. The anticipated period of performance is 08/24/2020 to 08/23/2021, with four, one-year option periods, with service to be provided at Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 4, Erie VA Medical Center. The NAICS code for this procurement is 811219. The size standard is $6.5 million. Interested parties that can meet the capabilities and requirements, may identify their interest and submit capabilities. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations. Interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements, must submit information about their capabilities no later than 13:00 PM EST, 07/16/2020. All information shall be provided at no cost, or obligation to the Government. No solicitation will be made available. Information must be sent to the Contract Specialist, Cheryl.honick@va.gov. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government.
