Description
This is a Sources Sought only. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is performing market research to determine if there are any SDVOSB/VOSB/SB vendors that can provide a Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) system supporting the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System, North Las Vegas, NV. (See below for salient characteristics) There is no solicitation document as this time. The NAICS is 339112 with Small Business size of 1,000 employees. NOTE: Please ensure that System For Award Management (SAM) (www.sam.gov) indicates this NAICS code if you are interested in the requirement. Vyntus One PFT system with no manifolds that are proximal to the breathing tubes as they can be a source for contamination even with use of in-line filters. This statement is directly from ATS/ERS document from 2005. In this particular section they discuss in line filters and also mention that most manufactures only test their filters for bacterial load. We have tested bacterial and viral bioburden and proven efficiency. Vyntus One PFT employs use of automatic grading according to DLCO guidelines. Vyntus One PFT alerts the technician if patient is not fully washed out from test gas. Vyntus One PFT Software can confirm dead space and sample accuracy using gas concentration over volume according to 2017 guidelines.
