- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. No Solicitation is currently available. All information contained in this Sources Sought Announcement is preliminary, as well as subject to modification, and is in no way binding on the Government. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this request. The information requested will be used solely within the Department of Veterans Affairs to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside of the Government. The determination of a procurement strategy, based upon the comments submitted in response to this Sources Sought Announcement, is solely within the discretion of the Government. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 484210, Used Household and Office Goods Moving, and the small business size standard is $30.0 M. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office (NCO 21) is soliciting information contractors that can provide Relocation and Storage Services for San Francisco Veterans Affairs Medical Center. A draft of the Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached to this notice. Brief Description of Services See attached Draft PWS. The San Francisco Veterans Affairs Health Care System (SFVAHCS) has a requirement for installation and relocation of office furniture and equipment. The SFVAHCS requires a contractor to provide a full range of services that include the removal of office furniture, equipment and related supplies from the existing location, transport the items to the new location, and place them according to the direction of the Contracting Officer Representative (COR). Capability Statement All interested contractors must respond by email to Angela.Gerlitzki@va.gov before 9:00 A.M. HST on July 13, 2020. Please answer the following questions when responding: What is your company s Socioeconomic Status? (ex: small business, large business, SDVOSB, etc.) Provide DUNS and/or CAGE Code. Ability and experience in managing similar projects. Include general information and technical background describing your firm's experience on contracts requiring similar efforts to meet the program objectives. List of Projects (Government and Commercial) that are similar in scope and size. Anticipated Teaming Arrangements (if any). If plan on subcontracting, demonstrate that you will meet the limitations on subcontracting per FAR 52.219-14 for Small Businesses; VAAR 852.219-74 for SDVOSB/VOSB. GSA Contract Number if applicable. Identify if your firm has or can obtain a warehouse or storage facility within a 15-mile radius from the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Health Care System (SFVAHCS) campus located at 4150 Clement Street, San Francisco, CA 94121. Provide the name and location of the warehouse or storage facility. The facility must consist of 10,000 square feet (SF) of storage space with a loading dock. The warehouse facility shall closed circuit television security, fire, and safety alarm systems. Solicitation number 36C26120Q0799 has been assigned and should be referenced on all correspondence regarding this announcement. The Government will use this information when determining its business type decision.
