- Description
- The U.S. Army Contracting Command � New Jersey (ACC-NJ), on behalf of the Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) Armaments Center, has a proposed acquisition for the purchase of one thousand and two (1,002) Wood Crates. The period of performance shall be thirty-two (32) weeks after date of contract award. This requirement is being set-aside 100% for Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB). It is anticipated that a firm fixed price purchase order will result from this solicitation. A Request for Quote is attached to this notice. Quotes are due by 3:00 PM�EST on 10�July 2020. The Government will not pay for any information provided under this notice. All inquiries to this notice shall be in writing. The point of contact for this action is Jonathan Kilgore, Contract Specialist at jonathan.m.kilgore.civ@mail.mil AND Wilson Au, Contracting Officer at wilson.w.au.civ@mail.mil. NO TELEPHONE INQUIRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED. **********************UPDATE*************************** Below are questions received from intersted contractors and answers to those questions: Question: Our Crates will be in the modular, collapsible clip style and not the cleated style as specified. Please confirm this is acceptable? Answer: The crates need to be the cleated style. Question: On the 3rd size, 84x60x40 (internal), the largest we would be able to quote would be a 84�L x 58�W x 40�H (internal).� Please confirm that will work as well? Answer:�84�L x 58�W x 40�H (internal) will not be acceptable.� Question: What are the items, item dimensions and approximate weight of the items that will be enclosed in the wooden crates? Answer: Many different items.� About�500 lb. Question: What type of packaging/cushioning is required? 2. The Government is only interested in obtaining�the crates.� There is no dunnage specified in the SOW.
