- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis withWBH, Inc. (DBA Midwest Aircraft, cage code 1SWT0), for the delivery of Engine Lift Fixture Assembly (ELFA), P/N 4106AS0140-1 and Yokes, P/N 23094382-001 in support of the MQ-4C Triton Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS).� Rolls-Royce has designated Midwest Aircraft as the only authorized manufacturer�of the ELFA �and Midwest Aircraft is the only known company with the technical knowledge, proprietary data, and expertise necessary to manufacture this item. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of the synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
