- Description
- The purpose of this contract is to provide a telehandler with a minimum of a 10,000 lb carry capacity and a 40� lift height.� The telehandler must be equipped with stabilizers, an enclosed cab and heat. The contractor shall quote a weekly rate for the telehandler and include the cost for transportation of the telehandler to and from the jobsite, on- and off-loading, as well as any required routine maintenance during the rental period. Vendor shall provide the customer service needed to support this equipment in the event of a breakdown during the contracted rental period. Within 24-hours of being notified by the Government of an equipment breakdown, the vendor shall either repair or replace the nonfunctioning equipment. � The telehandler shall be less than 2 years old at the start of the job. Delivery date of the telehandler shall be on or before 12 November 2020 and tentative pick up date 16 April 2021.� Hours for delivery and pick-up must be between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM.� No deliveries will be received on holidays or weekends. � Upon delivery to the Fountain City Service Base, contractor must test run the telehandler. � Upon delivery of the telehandler, the telehandler shall be inspected with USACE personnel and contractor to verify the condition of the telehandler before it is in the possession of USACE.
