- The US Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) intends to issue an award on a sole source basis IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) to Dantec Dynamics, Inc., CAGE: 04985, 750 Blue Point Road, Holtsville, NY 11742-1832 to procure a 2D time-averaged Particle Imaging Velocimeter (PIV) system and accompanying Integrated Multichannel Constant Temperature Anemomether (CTA) system. � The ERDC�s Synthetic Environment for Near-Surface Sensing and Experimentation (SENSE) Research Center is acquiring a closed-circuit, low speed, climate controlled wind tunnel and is being upgraded with new measurement systems in the form a PIV system with accompanying integrated multichannel CTA system.� Dyantec Dynamics is a leading manufacturer of PIV and CTA flow measurement systems. �Two 1-dimensional (ID) mini CTAs are already in use in the existing SENSE wind tunnel.� The ERDC has a requirement to add one 1D CTA and four 3D probes.� The required equipment provided by Dynatec Dynamics can be directly integrated into the PIV systems synchronizer to provide real-time simultaneous supporting measurements.� The equipment provided by Dynatec Dynamics is also compatible with the existing wind tunnel traverse and can be exported directly to existing Matlab software for exterior visualization and analysis.� Additionally, Dynatec Dynamics is the sole provider of these systems in the western hemisphere.� Therefore, requirements for this upgrade can only be provided by Dynatec Dynamics, Inc. The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 334519, Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing. �The Government intends to procure from only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) using simplified acquisition procedures. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation to the Contract Specialist by 12:00 PM CST, Monday, 13 July 2020.
