- This was a Firm Fixed Price, 8(a) Sole Source acquisition in accordance with Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act (15 USC 637 (a)(1) and FAR Part 19.8.��The intent of this requirement is to provide the customer a complete and useable overwatch facility improvement and to complete the work that has been partially completed by others under a separate contract. The contract terms, materials and provisions of the previous contract are provided in Part 6 and are for reference in establishing the type and extent of work required under this contract. The goal of this project is to assess the improvements already installed, complete the remaining work and provide the customer complete and useable overwatch facility improvements. Work includes final denial barrier (FDB) systems, crash beam systems, new electrical power, overwatch guard stations, lighting, cameras, and other ancillary equipment items. The Contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, parts and labor necessary to complete and certify this project. The word ""provide"" in this scope shall mean ""to order, purchase, deliver to site, assemble, install per manufacturer's recommendations, connect and test for proper functioning. This Statement of Work (SOW) describes the type and extent of work required under this contract and the KTR�S submitting proposal shall supplement and augment the SOW as required to provide a complete, engineered, manufacturer certified product at the end of the project. The KTR shall perform based on construction industry standard practice and in compliance with the applicable manufacturing drawings, specifications, codes, regulations, criteria and other applicable standards specified in delivering this contract requirement to achieve a complete usable finished product, not limited to requirements specified below. The KTR shall produce all design drawings, including site plans, equipment layout, electrical drawings and details, required to document and communicate the final design intent. The KTR shall bear the responsibility of obtaining and coordinating all trades, sub-contractors and inspections required in performing the work as specified herein to provide a manufacturer certified FDB and crash gate systems complete with training and SOPs for the operation and maintenance of the installed systems. This work is within NAICS Code 238210, Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors.�PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 2 JULY 2020 TO 1 JULY 2021
