- Progeny Systems Corporation was awarded contract N68335-20-C-0348 on 01 June 2020�in support of the Rapid Innovation Funds Program.� Progeny proposes to leverage advances in virtualization and automated provisioning and testing harnesses to deliver a provisioning framework that allows rapid changes and adaptations as new threats and methods are identified. Use of highly resilient change management and impact evaluation will allow Progeny to deliver upgrades into production environments using blue/green virtualized twins, automation, and impact analysis for decision-makers. This capability will allow afloat platforms to rapidly respond to cybersecurity threats with minimal human tasking, reduced risk, and improved responsiveness. Progeny shall provide the capability to provision, test functionality, interactions and interfaces, provide penetration and security evaluation of software payloads, and provide decision support to allow onboard leadership the ability to manage software upgrades with a fully resilient framework and informed decision making.
