- Description
- The Army Contracting Command- Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) intends to award a five-year, Firm-Fixed-Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to Harris Global Communications, Inc., in support of various Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases. The contract shall consist of the Harris Family of Tactical High Frequency (HF), Very High Frequency (VHF), Ultra High Frequency (UHF) and Multiband Radios, ancillaries, installation kits, spare parts, operation and maintenance training, Field Service Representatives, Site Surveys/Site Preparation, System Installation Services and Maintenance Support Services. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR Part 6.302-1(a)(2) � Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Harris Global Communications, Inc. designs and is the original manufacturer for the Harris Radios and its components. Harris Global Communications, Inc. is the only source that possesses the Technical Data Package needed for production of these items. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This synopsis is for informational purposes only.
