Description
TITLE: Detection and/or Identification of Obscured Objects � This is a Sources Sought ONLY. � The Joint Product Manager, Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosive Analytics and Response Systems (JPdM CBRNE A&RS), Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD is conducting market research to �identify integrated detection systems that incorporate all ancillary equipment required to process, analyze, and report the detection of metal or other solid and/or liquid objects and/or ground disturbance. The purpose of this announcement is to gather information on State-of-the-Art Technologies to detect and identify potential objects of interest and/or other objects directly associated with explosives.� These technologies can take the form of the following: handheld, benchtop, and stand-off detection constructs that may include, but not limited to, technologies such as FTIR, Magnetometry, Thermal Imaging, GPR, etc.� The applicable NAICS codes for this SOURCES SOUGHT are 334413, 334511, 334513, 334516, 334519, and 541715.� Potential technologies that would be applicable to this notice would have the following features: If this is an integrated system identify all ancillary equipment required to process, analyze, and report the detection of metal or other solid and/or liquid objects and/or ground disturbance. Can be either handheld, benchtop, and/or standoff detection systems. Wireless capability would be optional. Use/or incorporate commercial or Government developed software(s), if applicable Non-proprietary software preferred Have Windows 10 or greater compatibility, if applicable Have Authority to Operate (ATO) preferred, if applicable Have File Interoperability and Data Sharing capability NOTE:� Parties interested in participating in this SOURCES SOUGHT need to request a survey from JPdM CBRNE A&RS and include any relevant test reports, manuals, brochures, information papers, and other applicable documents be submitted along with their response to this SOURCES SOUGHT � Responses to this notice shall be submitted to:� Joint Product Manager CBRNE Analytics and Response Systems (JPdM CBRNE A&RS), 8228 Scully Rd, APG-EA, MD� 21010-5424, usarmy.apg.jpeo-cbd.mbx.jpdm-cbrne-ars@mail.mil � All firms responding to this SOURCES SOUGHT are advised that their response is not a request to be considered for a contract award. �All firms that are able to provide technologies meeting the criteria in this SOURCES SOUGHT should submit their information to the Joint Product Manager CBRNE Analytics and Response Systems. Submissions are due no later than 18 February 2020, 5:00PM Eastern Standard Time.� (Mailed Reponses must be received by this date). � All information received in response to this notice that is marked proprietary will be handled accordingly.� The Government does not anticipate responding to all submissions.� However, the Government may determine, in its discretion, follow up information is necessary and may contact individual respondents for that purpose.� Responses to this SOURCES SOUGHT, including any brochures, test reports, CDs, etc., will not be returned. Respondents must properly identify and mark any technical data provided in response to this SOURCES SOUGHT that is subject to restrictive markings. � All documents shall be submitted in Portable Document Format (.pdf) or Microsoft Word format through the DoD Safe web site (https://safe.apps.mil/).� Additionally, submissions may also be provided by hard copy and E-mail (if the file size is under 10 MB). Responses at a minimum, should include: 1.� The number of this notice. 2.� The responding company�s name, address, telephone number, website address (if available). 3.� Type of business (large or small), and if self-identified as a small business, the basis for that determination.� 4.� The name, telephone number, and e-mail address of a point of contact having the authority and knowledge to respond to questions from the Government regarding this notice. 5.� The completed survey. 6.� Any other supporting materials (test reports, manuals, brochures, information papers, etc.). 7. If available, provide your company's System for Award Management (SAM) Cage Code and DUNS number to verify your business status.
