- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart�12.6 and FAR 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Instructions to offerors (Tailored for quotes under FAR part 13), evaluation criteria, and all applicable FAR Provisions and Clauses are attached. The solicitation number is 70Z02920P8NJ05200 and issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-01. This acquisition is Unrestricted. Where Federal Acquisition Regulation clause language is inconsistent with FAR 13.004, Legal Effect of Quotations, that language is hereby tailored in accordance with FAR 12.302 to be consistent with a request for quotations. This tailoring includes, but is not limited to the following: In accordance with FAR 13.004, a quotation is not an offer, and any clause provision to the contrary is hereby modified to be consistent with FAR 13.004. Where the word ""offer/offeror� or a derivative of that word appears, it is changed to ""quote/quoter� or a derivative of that word. The associated NAICS code is 561621 and the small business size standard is $20.5M. USCG Station Grand Isle has a requirement to purchase:�Equipment and the installation�of security cameras. Station Grand Isle installation and equipment. To include the following: Material furnished by contractor to consist of a 4 MP Outdoor IR Varifocal Bullet Camera with a quanity of 14, 16-Port Gigabit Web Smart SWIT with a quantity of 1, 8-port GIG switch POE + 30W with a quantity of 3, Nvr 32 channel Nvr with 20 TB with a quantity of 1, and a 8MP (4x2mp). 5-50MM, 30fps, 240 degree, PanoVu Mini, Panoramic+PTZ, H.265, Day/Night DWDR, Outdoor with a quantity of 2. Must meet same or similar requirements, in ADDITION to complying with FAR case 2018-017 and section 889(a)(1)(A) of the FY19 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) prohibition of the Federal Government's purchase of certain telecommunications equipment, video surveillance equipment, and services from five named companies. Install 32 channel 20tb NVR with 14 4mp cameras and 2 50mm cameras, 1- 16port and 3- 8port gigabit POE switches with surge protectors. Any further discrepancies found, will need approval before proceeding with repairs. Background: Station Grand Isle�s Security Camera System is currently OOC. Due to the environment condition most of the cameras in the system are severely corroded and are in need of being replaced. FAR 52.237-1 -- Site Visit (Apr 1984). Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
