Description
The purpose of this change is to provide Amendment 0001 to the solictation. _____________________________________________________________ Solicitation N6133120R0004 replaces N6133119R0016 Synopsis. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) intends to solicit offers, from qualified 8(a) firms, for crew support, operation and maintenance of the Sea Fighter (FSF-1).� Sea Fighter (FSF-1) is a wave-piercing catamaran (262 ft long/950 ton displacement/15 ft draft) powered by a Combined Diesel or Gas (CODOG) power plant. Sea Fighter operates as a technology demonstrator/risk reduction platform home-ported at the Naval Support Activity Panama City (NSA PC), Panama City, FL. This requirement is for a contractor to provide the crew required to operate and maintain the FSF-1 during systems test and experimentation and during transit between ports. Security Clearances at the TOP SECRET level will be required.� The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) intends to award single contract consisting of Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) Line Items for labor and Cost Line Items for Other Direct Costs (ODCs) and Dry Docking. The anticipated solicitation will contain a 12-month base period plus four 12-month option periods for a total period of performance of 60 months, if all options are exercised. The current incumbent on this effort is the Yulista/Y-Tech under contract N61331-15-C-0025. The requirement is to be solicited as a competitive procurement action pursuant to Section 8(a), of the Small Business Act [15 USC 637(a)] and FAR 19.805. All responsible 8(a) sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered. THE GOVERNMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CONSIDER A SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE OR 8(A) SET-ASIDE BASED ON RESPONSES HERETO. This requirement will ONLY be made available through the Government Point of Entry (GPE). The Government will NOT provide hard copies (paper sets) or CD-ROMs of this solicitation.�It is imperative that interested parties review the web sites frequently for any updates and/or amendments.
