- DESCRIPTION: The Monongahela National Forest (managed by the USDA Forest Service) in West Virginia is advertising a project to replace the exterior siding of the Gauley Residence located at the Gauley Ranger Station.� ���� The Contractor will be required to provide all expertise, labor, supervision, tools, equipment, transportation, permits and incidental supplies as required in the Schedule of Items and Specifications of the solicitation necessary to perform remodeling services.� Work for this project consists of removing the existing siding on the residence and garage, installing new foam insulation on the residence, house wrap, siding, trim pieces, and repairing a portion of the roof. All deliverables must be in compliance with the terms, specifications, conditions and provisions of this solicitation and are to comply with applicable, Local, State and Federal codes. GOVERNMENT PRICE ESTIMATE: The Government�s estimated price range for the total of all work is less than $25,000. LOCATION: Performance will take place in Nicholas County, West Virginia at: Gauley Ranger District 932 North Fork Cherry Road Richwood, WV� 26261 CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATIONS: Interested parties are advised that registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database is required prior to award of a contract.� There is no cost for registration in SAM when registration is completed on the official SAM website (www.sam.gov). SET ASIDE: This procurement is set-aside 100% for small business concerns.� The NAICS code is 238170 � Siding Contractors; the Small Business size standard is $16.5 million. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS: Solicitation 12343420Q0006 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and will be awarded as a firm fixed price contract.� The solicitation and related documents will only be issued electronically via FedBizOpps and are expected to be available for downloading on or around February 3, 2020 FedBizOpps� web address:� https://www.fbo.gov.� All responsible sources may submit a quotation which, if timely received, shall be considered by the Agency.
