Description
SUMARRY The scope for work related to the repair of the Aircraft Maintenance Hangar, F129, includes the repair by replacement of the existing sliding doors, door tracks and weatherguard with new, vertical lift fabric doors (VLFD). VLFDs will be supported with free standing support steel columns/mullions on concrete drilled shafts. Facia of hangar will be replaced with concrete masonry block walls and structural insulated panels on metal framing. Roof will be repaired adjacent to the door locations as required to accommodate the new doors and associated flashing. Provide electrical power to doors and provide new lighting for the hangar. SCHEDULE Demolish existing doors, concrete door track and facia on west end of building;�Construct 4 each concrete drilled shafts with shaft heads and transition slab;�Erect steel columns/mullions and vertical lift fabric doors;�Erect concrete masonry unit (CMU) walls and structural insulated panels on metal stud framing;�Install weather guard and modify roof as required;�Install gutters, downspouts and splash pads along west, north and south faces of facility;�Repair adjacent concrete sidewalk and concrete pad;��Install required lighting and electrical equipment and provide power to new VLFDs. CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS: The Contractor awarded will need to provide information to have business set up for payment.� Also will need to fill out forms for Reps & Certs, W-9, & Authorization Agreement For Vendor Automatic Electronic Funds Transfer.� If you are large business you will need to be set up on 45 days net terms and small business will be 30 days Net terms. You must also provide three References of similar like work within the past two years, and Technical Approach in your bid package.�� Pre-Bid to look at the site is scheduled on 23 Jan 2020 at 10:00 a.m. Central time zone.� Please notify teddy.thomas@.ctr@us.af.mil 72 hours in advance by providing your full name, date of birth, state, and driver license for base access. Award will be contingent upon approval of funds, reference checks, D&B rating, and low cost acceptable.��
