- The Industry Day will focus on upcoming contracting opportunities for Hurricane Recovery projects at various National Park Service (NPS) locations in the Southeastern US, including sites at the US Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. The overall program is currently funded at approximately $207 Million, for approximately 75 projects. Projects are anticipated to be solicited and awarded for construction starting from this fiscal year (FY20). The projects are a result of Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria and include significant restoration efforts for the affected areas. Projects include various building and housing repairs, such as electrical repairs, roofing, and window replacements; new commercial building and housing; various docks and boardwalk repairs and replacements; and demolition efforts.
