- Statement of Work Redacted Sole Source PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE PUBLISHED. Pursuant to the authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b)(1)(i), the Department of the Navy (Don), on behalf of the Navy Environmental Preventive Medicine Unit 2 intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Agilent Technologies, Inc., 2850 Centerville Rd Wilmington, DE 19808-1610 for a parts, maintenance service for one base year with four (4) option years. Agilent Technologies is the manufacturer and sole provider for the requested items and service identified on the Statement of Work and Sole Source Justification. This notice will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Website (www.fbo.gov). Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FBO site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. For this action, the North American Classification System Code is 811490 and Product Service Code J066. Based on market research and contacts made with knowledgeable individuals within the government it has been determined that the DON's requirement can only be provided by Agilent Technologies, Inc. as they are the sole proprietor authorized to provide the requested services and or products. IAW FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), all interested parties may submit a bid, proposal or quotation, which shall be evaluated and or considered for award. All interested parties shall provide a response to this requirement to this office NLT 12:00 pm, EST, 07, November 2019. Responses will be accepted via the FBO or email to the attention of Felicia Hurdle-Wilson, Contract Specialist, at felicia.z.hurdlewilson.civ@mail.mil. Telephone requests will not be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response(s) to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
