Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Northern California Health Care System, 10535 Hospital Way, Mather, CA 95655-2900, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis, pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements; with Wearable Sensing, 16744 W Bernardo Drive, San Diego, CA 92127, (858) 412-1812, https://wearablesensing.com, sales@wearablesensing.com. The requirement is for the research-grade portable, wireless integrated dry EEG and fNIR system which is designed for synchronized recording of the brain s electrical activity and its hemodynamic response or blood-oxygen-level dependent (BOLD) response. The EEG and fNIR sensors allow simultaneous and superimposed recordings at locations distributed on the scalp. The requirement comes with 1-year equipment warranty plus an optional 5-year technical support package. The specific list of items required are attached. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; however, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement to the contracting office no later than Tuesday, November 5th, 2:00, EST. Responses shall include the following. Enough information that allows the VA to determine what is being offered and whether or not it will suit the needs to the medical facilities. Capability statements that include point of contact, socio-economic status and whether or not you have any authorized distributors of the product offered. Interest/capability statements may be sent to Shannon Archer at Shannon.Archer@va.gov. No telephone responses will be accepted. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses/lack of responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
