- Page 2 of 2 The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration (VHA) NCO1 Contracting Office issued a sole source award to Air Planning LLC to provide Emergency Air Ambulance Services, including medical services and personnel for patients of the Togus (Augusta Maine) VA Medical Center. The Government s intent was to form an agreement with an air transportation provider with the ability to leverage multiple air ambulance assets and offer medical response personnel under GSA contract. In the interest of economy and efficiency, the new work was a logical follow-on to an original order placed in accordance with the applicable Federal Supply Schedule ordering procedures. This purchase was made using FAR Part 8 Procedures and the posting procedures required by FAR 8.405-6(a)(2)(i). This notice is neither a request for quote nor a solicitation for offers.
