The 20th Contracting Squadron, Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina announces the anticipated release of Solicitation Number FA480319BA003 being issues as an Invitation for Bids (IFB). All applicable provision and clauses will be included in the actual solicitation. This electronic announcement constitutes the pre-solicitation notice. This solicitation is being offered to 8(a) firms in the following Geographical Areas: S. Carolina, N. Carolina, Georgia and Florida. 8(a) businesses must have a bona fide place of business within the geographical boundaries of one or more SBA district offices within the state(s) of S. Carolina, N. Carolina, Georgia and Florida. All others will be deemed non responsible. Contract award will be based on Sealed Bid - FAR Part 14. In accordance with FAR Part 14.408(a)(3); award will be made to the responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the invitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and price-related factors included in the invitation. Title: Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) Place of performance: Shaw Air Force Base, Poinsett Weapons Range, and Wateree Recreation Facility, South Carolina Brief description of work: The work performed may include design/build, alteration, and repair, renovation of existing active facilities, new minor construction, and major repair. The contractors will be required to furnish all labor, supplies, materials, supervision, transportation, and equipment necessary to manage and successfully accomplish each project/task order. Work may include, but is not limited to: water lines, sewer lines, painting, roofing, renovation of interiors of existing buildings, new building construction, electrical substation construction, structural construction, HVAC systems and components, refrigerant systems, fire suppression system, fuel pipeline and storage systems, address systems, fire alarm systems, telephone systems, asbestos, lead based paint, petroleum-contaminated material abatement and disposal, and exterior site and systems work. This solicitation is for a firm-fixed price Requirements Contract to provide a streamlined means to complete a broad range of projects. During the contract period, individual task orders will be issued to the contractor for specified projects. Performance period for each project will be specified in each individual task order. General requirements for this contract will consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, material and performing all operations necessary to accomplish broad range of construction projects. NAICS Code: 236220 Size Standard: $39.5M Magnitude of Effort: More than $150,000,000.00 IFB: Will be available on or about 01 October 2019 SITE VISIT: Government intends to hold a site visit 10 Oct 2019 at Shaw AFB at 0930. Details will be provided once Invitation for Bid (IFB) is issued. Performance Period: Five year period IDIQ. Government intends to award six (6) IDIQ contracts with the ability to On Board five (5) contractors at Government's discretion. This acquisition is being issued under FAR 19.1303 HUBZone Small Business Set Aside and solicited via Invitation for Bid. The Invitation for Bid will be available by Electronic Transmission only at: http://www.fbo.gov. Potential bidders must be currently registered in System for Award Management to be eligible for award. (See internet site: http://www.sam.gov). Payment for task orders issued against this acquisition will be made through the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) System.
