- THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. THIS IS A NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT'S INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE AWARD TO DAN KAIN TROPHIES, INC. FOR AWARD DEVICES. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Office of Acquisition Management (OAQ), on behalf of the DHS, U.S. ICE, Office of the Assistant Secretary (OAS), intends to award a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Dan Kain Trophies, Inc. (Address: 8306 Hilltop Road Fairfax, VA 22031-1507; CAGE Code: 43719) for 300 Crystal 68 (CRY68) Medium Optical Crystal Diamond Series Laser Etched Logo and Text Optical crystal arrowhead award with beveled edge detail. Size 9" and 100 Crystal 69 (CRY69) Large Optical Crystal Diamond Series Laser Etched Logo and Text Optical crystal arrowhead award with beveled edge detail Size 10.75". The award devices are considered commercial supplies that will be acquired using FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13 procedures. The requirement is associated with a delivery date of approximately three (3) months after award of contract. The anticipated award will be made under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), Soliciting from a single source. Market Research conducted by OAQ and OAS concludes that no other company is capable to provide award devices within 25 miles radius and be registered in the System for Awards Management (SAM). This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotes. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to fulfill this requirement by responding to this Notice of Intent no later than 9:00 AM Eastern Standard Time on 19 September 2019 by email to Valerie.Leonova@ice.dhs.gov; no telephone communications will be entertained. The subject line in the email shall state "Response to Notice of Intent - Award Devices." All information submitted should support the offeror's capability to provide the supplies and services required and shall be furnished at no cost to the Government. The Government reserves the right to cancel the sole source award. The anticipated primary North American Classification Systems (NAICS) code is 339999 - All Other Miscellaneous Manufacturing with a small business size standard of 500 employees.
