- RFI/Invitation to SAFE The purpose of this RFI is to gather information on the current state and availability of vendors to provide state-of-the-art Aircrew Flight Equipment (AFE) that address the capability gaps of USAF female aircrew members. The Government requests feedback to gain an understanding of the capabilities of existing commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions and potential developmental solutions that will improve the ability of female aircrew members to perform their USAF missions. The feedback received will be used to determine a way forward to resolve female aircrew flight equipment requirements.
