- Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source The Regional Health Contracting Office-Central, intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price sole source contract to Bayer Healthcare LLC. a large business, under authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)--, For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), only one source reasonably available, urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization for Reynolds Army Community Hospital, Fort Sill, Oklahoma for maintenance and service plan for Medrad Stellant D CT Injection System and Medrad Spectris Solaris EP MR Injection System. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 811219, and the size standard is $22M. This notice is neither a request for competitive quotes. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency before the intended award date of 24 September 2019. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. The Government shall not reimburse interested sources for any information provided. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. No telephonic inquiries will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Regional Health Contracting Office-Central intends to make a sole source award to Bayer Healthcare LLC, 100 Bayer Blvd, Whippany, NJ 07981.
