The National Institute of Health, Clinical Center (CC) intends to award a Fixed Price Purchase Order to Fujifilm SonoSite, 21919 30th Dr SE Bothell, WA 98021-3904 on a sole source basis to procure four (4) Edge Sonosite SII Ultrasound Systems, part number L22406, with partial trade-in credit for turning in end of life machines, for use in the NIH Clinical Center. This acquisition is being conducted using policies unique to the acquisition of commercial items prescribed in FAR Part 12 in conjunction with the policies and procedures for the competition requirements in FAR Part 6. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this posting. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Comments to this announcement, referencing this posting number, may be submitted to the CC, Office of Purchasing and Contracts, prior to the closing date specified in this announcement, electronically to the attention of Lisa Schaupp, Contract Specialist, Lisa.Schaupp@nih.gov, by the due date and time marked in this notice. Any responses of vendor capability to provide the equipment in this pre-solicitation notice of intent must be received by the Contract Specialist at the email Lisa.Schaupp@nih.gov by 9:00 a.m. Monday, September 23, 2019.
