- Notice Of Intent To Award Sole Source contract under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The applicable NAICS Code is 611699. The Special Purpose Marine Air, Ground Task Force, Crisis Response Africa (SPMAGTF-CR-AF) 19.2 contracting cell intends to award a sole source contract to Mack Defense, LLC for Mack Granite Tractor, Wrecker Operators, Towing/Recovery and Maintenance Training as well as Mack Diagnostic Kits. Award is expected to be made on or around 19 Sep, 2019, the anticipated contract is for a period of performance from 21 Oct 2019 through 8 Nov 2019. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Capability statements or quotes, if received timely, will be considered; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses shall be emailed to sakina.nixon@usmc.mil no later than 18 Sep 2019, 4:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Late responses will not be considered.
