Description

Regional Procurement Office (RPO) - East intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Biomedical Research & Development Laboratories, Inc., 8561 Atlas Drive, Gaithersburg, MD 20877, to purchase a Brandel Gradient Fractionation System for the VA Salt Lake Health Care System. The equipment is necessary to upgrade the current Brandel system for experiments used in their research studies and to maintain data consistency. The following equipment will be purchased: ITEM INFORMATION ITEM NUMBER DESCRIPTION OF SUPPLIES/SERVICES QUANTITY UNIT 0001 Type 11 Detector with Chart Recorder 1.00 EA 0002 FC-176 Comm. Cable 1.00 EA 0003 R1 Fraction Collector 2.00 EA 0004 UA-6 Detector Cable 1.00 EA 0005 Tube Piercer w/5mm Flow Cell and Syringe Pump 1.00 EA This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Any responsible sources who wish to identify their interest and capability to provide this equipment or equipment that is compatible must notify this Contracting Specialist at Millicent.Covert@va.gov NLT Monday, September 23, 2019 by noon EST. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Upon receipt of the interested parties' notification, the Contracting Officer will determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement or proceed with sole source negotiations.
