- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, and incorporates provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-06 (effective 9/10/19). Paper copies of this solicitation will not be issued and telephone requests, email requests, or fax requests for the solicitation will not be accepted. It is the contractor's responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. Clauses and provisions can be found at https://www.acquisition.gov/?q=/browse/far/52. This solicitation is a Request for Quotations, numbered as 140P8319Q0100. The NAICS code is 336211 with an associated small business size standard of 1,000 employees. This solicitation is for supply and delivery (not a service, not construction), is a 100% total small business set-aside, and will result in a firm fixed price purchase order to a single vendor determined to be responsive and responsible. The Government will consider past performance in determining responsibility. DESCRIPTION. The National Park Service has a requirement for a single vendor to supply and deliver a Randco (manufacturer brand, or equal) Hook Lift Water Tank System unit that will be capable of fitting to a 2004 Kenworth T300 truck chassis (weight of chassis and other truck details are included in Attachment no. 2). Deliver the unit to Olympic National Park, Attention: Skip Willoughby, 600 East Park Avenue, Port Angeles, Washington 98362. Olympic National Park does not have a loading dock. The park can provide a forklift and operator for off-loading, but that requires the delivery be arranged in advanced. Vendor shall arrange a delivery date and time in advance. It is preferable that the delivery date be scheduled to occur on a Tuesday or Wednesday or Thursday, delivery truck arriving no later than 3pm Pacific Time. Point of Contact for pre-arranging the delivery will be provided to vendor on the awarded Purchase Order. NOTE: This description does not contain all of the information. Quoters shall refer to Attachment no. 2, Brand Name or Equal Specifications. ATTACHMENTS TO THIS SOLICITATION. HOW TO SUBMIT QUOTE: Quote shall be submitted by email. Reference the solicitation number in the subject line of the email (example: "140P8319Q0090/QUOTE"). Send to Phaedra_fuller@nps.gov. It is the Quoter's responsibility to ensure that the entire quote package submitted is fully received. Quote MUST be good for 30 calendar days after close of this solicitation. The government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation.
