- Description
- Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.202(a)(12), this is a non-mandatory synopsis. This solicitation is intended only for sources duly authorized to operate and do business in Italy as prescribed by DFARS 225.1103(3). NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Bahrain (FLCB) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) on or around September 11, 2019, which will be available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov for about 15 days. The RFP is for the repair of United States Naval Ship (USNS) Choctaw County, which will be conducted within the 5th Fleet Area of Responsibility. FLCB intends to award a single-award firm-fixed-price (FFP) contract resulting from the RFP, and to evaluate proposals using the lowest price technically acceptable source selection process. The anticipated performance period is from November 15, 2019 to January 14, 2020.
